Your handle cannot be changed after registration. Making handles permanent guarantees that:

No. If you're only using The Parts Shop to track down parts for your project, you don’t need to configure a workshop, connect bank details, or list anything. Your username is simply how sellers see you when you message them or post on the Wanted Board.
🔄 Can I Both Buy and Sell?
Yes. Every single account supports both. You can use the same login to hunt down parts for your build and clear out surplus spares sitting under your workbench whenever you’re ready.
🤝 Running a Car Club or Specialist Garage?
If you represent an official owners club, specialist restoration shop, or automotive channel, you can turn your workshop into an official partner hub. 🛡️ Why Must Names Be Unique?
To prevent impersonation and guarantee that your personal storefront link routes cleanly, every Username / Workshop / Club Name must be completely unique. If your preferred handle is already taken, the system will prompt you to choose an alternative.
