Listing Parts & Seller Standards
Selling on The Parts Shop is designed to be straight to the point. Whether you're selling a single rare spare or clearing out excess inventory from your workshop, following clear listing standards ensures your parts sell faster and minimizes potential buyer disputes.
📝 How to Create a Great Listing
To create a listing that attracts buyers and sets clear expectations:
- Clear Title: Include the year, make, model, and part name (e.g., 1965 Porsche 912 Four-Spoke Steering Wheel or Toyota Land Cruiser 60 Series Wing Mirror).
- Accurate Photos: Take clear, well-lit photos from multiple angles. Always photograph part numbers, casting stamps, and any visible wear, corrosion, or damage.
- Detailed Description: State the exact condition (NOS, refurbished, original used), original part/OEM numbers, and compatibility details. Be completely honest about flaws or required restoration.
- Transparent Pricing: Set a fair Buy-It-Now price or enable Accept Offers if you're open to negotiation.

We keep seller fees completely simple so you know exactly what you'll earn:
- 0% Platform Commission: The Parts Shop charges £0.00 platform commission (Always free to list, negotiate, and sell).

🚚 Seller Expectations & Fulfillment

- Mandatory Tracking: Enter a valid courier tracking number into your dashboard immediately upon dispatch.
