What the Buyer Does:
- Choose Local Pickup: Select the pickup option at checkout—postage drops to £0.00.
- Arrange via Chat: Use direct messaging on the platform to agree on a convenient day, time, and meeting spot.
- Find Your Passcode: Head to your order details in your dashboard to find your unique 6-digit one-time passcode.
- Check the Part: Meet up and take a minute to give the item a proper look over.
- Share the Code: Once you’re completely happy, give your 6-digit passcode to the seller to complete the collection.
What the Seller Does:
- Offer Pickup: Tick "Local Pickup Available" when listing your part.
- Wait for the Sale: Once an order comes through, the buyer's payment is secured by the platform.
- Have It Ready: Have the part clean, accessible, and ready to be viewed at your workshop, garage, or meeting spot.
- Let Them Look: Give the buyer a moment to check condition and threads.
- Enter the Passcode: Type the buyer’s 6-digit one-time passcode into your order dashboard to confirm handover and release your payout.
🛡️ What If the Item Isn’t Right?
The best thing about collecting in person is seeing the part with your own eyes before taking it away:
- Unseen Damage or Wrong Fitment: If the part is cracked, worn out, or simply not right for your project, do not share your 6-digit passcode.
- Quick Cancellation & Full Refund: If you decide not to take it, let the seller know and tap Cancel Order in your dashboard. Because the passcode was never used, the order cancels and your money is refunded straight to your card.
- No Return Hassle: Because the item never left the seller's garage, neither of you has to worry about packing it up or paying return courier fees.
